WHAT: Leaders In Training a weekend full of fellowship, collaboration, and equipping for ages 17 and up and is focused on equipping servant leaders to be effective in the Peace Country Wilderness Camp context, but is designed to provide value for all attendees regardless of where they are serving.

 WHERE: Camp Wapiti (south of Grande Prairie, turn left on the dunes road then immediately right on the gravel road heading down the hill, follow the road to camp)

 WHEN: 1st weekend in May, 3rd-5th.

 WHO: Anyone who will be 17 before June 1st and who wishes to attend is welcome! You do not have to have any previous or future experience with Peace Country Wilderness Camps to participate!

COST: $50 for the weekend, includes all food and cabin space to stay overnight, however you will need to provide your own air mattress and sleeping bag.

WHAT: Spring Roundup is our annual volunteer orientation and staff training weekend. All actual and potential staff for the upcoming summer are required to be present to connect, learn, and unify with our team in order that we might serve well and effectively together in our ministry to campers.

 WHEN: Saturday May 4th from 8am to 6:30pm. 

 WHO: Anyone who will or may be on staff or volunteering with PCWC this summer.

COST: No cost. Lunch, supper and coffee is provided.

~ ANNUAL CAMP FUNDRAISER RODEO ~

WHAT: The PCWC  annual camp fundraiser rodeo is a fun filled affair for the whole family featuring games for kids and youth, live music entertainment from CRIMSON RIVER, a message from SID KOOP, praise and worship on Sunday morning, great food, a live pie auction, and a welcoming atmosphere for newcomers and long time attendees alike.

 WHERE: Bar 71 Ranch (east of Grande Prairie , over the Smokey River bridge on HWY 43, North on RR22 for approximately 6km, Bar 71 ranch is located on the west side of the road.)

 WHEN: Events start Saturday June 8th @ noon, Rodeo ends with lunch @ noon on Sunday June 9th.

 WHO: All ages welcome! There’s plenty of room for tents, trailers, and RV’s (must provide your own power)

COST: Camping and admission is FREE. Snack, food, beverage stands  open most of Saturday and Sunday. Saturday supper is provided at fixed cost, Sunday breakfast and lunch by donation.
